How to back up data if Camera Runs Out of Data?
When your camera’s data plan runs out or expires without renewal, all network-related features will stop working. However, the camera will continue to operate locally.
Functions that will stop working:
Remote preview in the app
Image and video push notifications
Motion alerts and event messages
Cloud uploads
Battery status and device info monitoring
What still works:
Motion detection and event recording to the SD card
You can remove the SD card and view files on your computer
The camera continues working offline, but only saves data locally
How to Renew Your Data Plan
To restore remote access, go to the device page in the App and tap the “Service” button in the bottom-right corner. There, you can choose and purchase a new plan to reactivate all cloud and preview features.
